A new colour scheme for a hall, stairs and landing with harmonising colours above and below the dado rail.
As is so often the way, the stair skirtings needed a lot of work (with 2-part filler) to ensure that the resulting line was suitably sharp.

Wet rot had affected a substantial portion of this casement window sill.
Rather than simply use 2-part filler on its own, the team retrieved the sill by screwing on a section of 2 x 1 planed timber and hardening the underlying substrate.
A small gap was left, and this was flush-filled with 2-part filler, prior to repainting.
The owners of this house, in a distinctive and peaceful part of Greenwich, suspect that their front door has been blue for over a century. This continuity — which also applies to the red, green and black front doors nearby — has been lightly enforced.
UV damage to the existing paintwork had dulled and lightened it — the new colour is Drawing Room Blue by Farrow & Ball, and works beautifully.
The team recently completed the redecoration of a living room, dining area and kitchen for Gemma and Henry in Earlsfield, southwest London.
The colours used in the sitting room, shown below, were from Farrow & Ball:
Cornforth White no.228 on the walls;
Purbeck Stone no.228 on the fitted base units;
Strong White no.2001 on the fireplace.
